03/06/13 - Attention all Sea Rim Striders. For those of us participating in the Gusher, we will be taking a group photo before the race. Meet at the steps nearest to the finish area at 7am.
02/18/13 - Support the family of Scott Curtis by attending the Scott-a-thon. One of our top sponsors, Exygon Health and Fitness in Beaumont is hosting the event. Scott was the General Manager of Exygon when he was tradgically killed in an auto accident last October. The proceeds will benefit his wife and son. 11/22/12 - We have so many to thank for making the 22nd Annual Triangle Therapeutics Turkey Trot a huge success. Thanks to our awesome sponsors. Without their generous support, we could not have done this. Thanks to the race director and organizers who had the vision and organization to move our location to the Event Centre downtown. Thanks to our many volunteers. And finally, thanks to all of our dedicated participants. More than 1500 of you decided to start your Thanksgiving with us, and we are truly grateful for all of you. We hope you and your families have had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we look forward to having all of you back next year! Results have been posted. 10/15/12 - It's time to register for the Triangle Therapeutics Turkey Trot. Remember, Sea Rim Striders get a discount if they register before November 3rd. 09/11/12 - It seems like overnight that fall weather replaced our warm, humid summer conditions. This is a great time of year to sign up for some of our excellent fall events and put a purpose to your training! Check out our Event Calendar to see what is scheduled. Also, note that the events with a "SRS" logo under the featured column are races that are organized by race directors or organizations that have a history of putting on high-quality events. They have taken extra steps to meet with the SRS Board and have satisfied the minimum requirements for being a "SRS Featured" event.
08/19/12 - We will close the 30th Annual Summer Run Series on Monday 8/20/12 with a run at the Gulf Terrace Hike and Bike Trail. Immediately following the run, we will have a potluck. Everyone is invited. The Sea Rim Striders will provide the main dish. Please bring a side, salad, or dessert to share. We will hold the pot luck in the air conditioned Chris Quinn Indoor Soccer Complex. Sea Rim Striders that have completed at least 6 of the 12 Summer Runs can also pick up their Summer Run Shirts. See you there!

06/27/12 - Exciting news: Turkey Trot will move to a new location this year - downtown Beaumont! More details to come.
06/26/12 - The 30th Annual Summer Series is proving to be hotter than ever... in terms of both participations and heat! We had over 350 runners and volunteers at the 4th Summer Run last night at the Gulf Terrace Hike and Bike trail. The heat and humidity combined to make it a challenging yet fun event. Remember to keep well hydrated this summer as you train in our Southeast Texas climate. Pictures and Results will be posted as soon as possible.
06/09/12 - Tyrrell Park in Beaumont provided the venue for 350 runners and walkers of all ages for the second run of the 2012 Summer Run Series. This year marks the 30th year of the weekly monday evening event that has become a summer tradition in Southeast Texas. Results and Pictureshave been updated
06/09/12 - Nearly 700 people signed up and took to the streets for the Calder Twilight 5K. Results have been posted. Look for pictures to be up soon.
06/05/12 - Important Race Information has been added for everyone participating in the Calder Twilight 5K.
The 30th Annual Summer Run Series kicked off last night with an amazing 263 Runners! Everyone had a good time. Thanks to everyone who came out to run, walk and cheer everyone on, and of course, a special thanks to our volunteers! Pictures are up and results should be posted soon.

05/04/12 - It's time to sign up for the Calder Twilight 5K! This 5K is a closed course, chip-timed race that will showcase the Calder Project completion as well as take you through historic Old Town. Find all of the details on our Event Calendar.
04/21/12 - Village Creek Festival 5K and Kids K results have been posted.
04/09/12 - The 2012 Ambassador Program details have been added to the website. Registration is now open, and will close on May 31, 2012.
03/23/12 - The City of Beaumont and the Sea Rim Striders have teamed up to bring you the Calder Twilight 5K. Come join us in a celebration of the completion of the Calder Street improvement project. The run/walk will be held on June 8, 2012 at 7:00pm. Participants will run along newly renovated Calder Street on this closed course.
03/11/12 - The 2012 Gusher is done and in the books. Congratulations to all of the participants, and THANK YOU to all of the volunteers.
