Local Training Groups, Favorite Places to Run in the Golden Triangle

Local Training Groups

All group training sessions are free and open to all.  Runners and walkers of any level of experience are invited.  The goal is to meet other fitness-minded people and to encourage each other as we all work to improve our fitness.

Favorite Places to Run in the Golden Triangle

Gulf Terrace Hike and Bike Trail Beaumont 3.5 mile paved loop.  Restroom facilities by soccer fields. 9000 Dishman Rd, Beaumont, TX
St. Elizabeth Wellness Center Beaumont Lighted .5 mile crushed granite trail circling the wellness center. 3030 North St, Beaumont, TX
Wuthering Heights Park Beaumont An asphalt track that is about 100 yards longer than a half mile, it is marked for .5 mi, 1 mi, 1.5 mi. 2.0 mi, and 2.5 mi.  Many trees, shade, and well kept.  Limited parking.  No restrooms. 3800 Delaware, Beaumont, TX
Tyrrell Park Beaumont Paved roads create a loop approximately 2.5 miles long. Tyrrell Park has nice restroom facilities. Check park hours on the City of Beaumont website. 5305 Tyrrell Park Rd, Beaumont, TX
Claiborne West Park Vidor Park roads are a little over 1 mile. According to the Orange County Parks Department (OCParks), there are 5 miles of trails as well. Claiborne Park has nice restroom facilities. Check park hours by calling the OCParks office at 409-745-2255. Don't depend on the OCParks website for hours, as they are incorrect. 4105 North St (I-10 Feeder Road) Vidor, TX
Raymond Gould Park Vidor 1/4 mile paved loop. The course is shaded and lighted.  Nice restroom facilities. Open 24 hrs. 385 Claiborne, Vidor, TX
Northway Park Orange 1 mile packed dirt trail.  Port-o-potty. Intersection of Clark Ln and Meeks Dr, Orange, TX
